Georgia Perimeter College has been awarded $500,000 in state money to install sidewalks and improve intersections at its Clarkston campus.
The state Department of Transportation money will cover sidewalks along North Indian Creek Drive and upgrade crosswalks and signals to that road’s intersections with Memorial College Avenue.
The corridor has been the scene of more than 200 accidents in the past year, one involving the death of a pedestrian.
