Shooting reported at Fedex facility near Atlanta
Authorities are on the scene of a shooting at the FedEx facility in Kennesaw.
“FedEx is aware of the situation,” company spokesman Scott Fiedler said in a statement to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Our primary concern is the safety and well being of our team members, first responders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities.”
Cobb fire Lt. Dan Dupree deferred all questions to the Cobb County Police Department, which was not immediately available for comment.
“We are assisting police at the FedEx complex on an incident,” he told the AJC.
The AJC has photographers and reporters at FedEx and WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
