Shady Valley Drive closed for sewer pipe installation
The city of Atlanta has closed Shady Valley Drive between Buford Highway and Saratoga Place through Jan. 20.
Storm drainage structures and a sanitary sewer line will be installed across the roadway. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic.
While the closure takes place in Atlanta, it is expected to affect Brookhaven traffic.
Residents should consider alternate travel routes.
