Several people were being questioned by police early Monday after a man was shot outside a northwest Atlanta restaurant and bar.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the shooting happened outside the Central City Tavern on Howell Mill Road near I-75.
Police later stopped a car with five men inside about three miles away at a gas station on James Jackson Parkway. Police put at least two of the men in handcuffs, and confiscated a handgun, according to Channel 2.
Police have not released information on the men detained, or what connection they might have had to the earlier shooting.
Investigators have also not released the identity of the shooting victim, who was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with wounds that were not believed to be life-threatening.
