Second man arrested in shooting death

DeKalb County deputies have arrested a second man believed to have been involved in the Oct. 9 shooting death of Gregory Porter.

Deputies from the Sherriff’s Office fugitive squad arrested Kyle Lamar Kee, 29, Monday.

Kee is charged with one count of murder and four counts of aggravated assault in the murder of Porter and the shootings of four other people, said police. The shootings occurred at 3876 Austin Circle at the Wynn Hollow Apartments in unincorporated DeKalb County.

Deputies arrested the first suspect, Marico “Rico” Young, Oct. 12. Young, 18, is also charged with one count of murder and four counts of aggravated assault.

Witnesses reported seeing a suspect fire about nine shots in the victims’ direction, all of whom were males, according to police.

They found one victim shot in the head and lying in the street; another, Porter, was shot in the back and lying in an apartment doorway of Building 3890; a third person shot in the arm and hip was found near that building’s entrance; and a fourth victim was shot in the leg, according to police report.

Kee and Young are housed in the DeKalb County jail without bond.
