Seats open on Peachtree City recreation board

Peachtree City has two openings on its Recreation & Special Events Advisory Board. One volunteer member and one alternate are needed to help plan and provide policies for public playgrounds, playing fields, indoor recreation centers and other recreation facilities owned by the city.

The five board members serve three-year terms and must attend at least 80 percent of all meetings, which are held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at the Kedron Fieldhouse. Applicants must have lived in the city for at least six months.

Forms and resumes are due by Dec. 2.
