The Fayette County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a vacancy on its Board of Family and Children Services.
The term begins July 1 and expires on June 30, 2023. The five-member board serves as a liaison between the county and the community to help disadvantaged individuals and families progress toward economic independence and stability. The board meets every other month at the DFACS office at 905 Highway 85 South in Fayetteville; attendance at least 80 percent of the meetings is required, and board members are compensated $25 per meeting.
Applications are at www.fayettecountyga.gov and must be submitted to the county clerk by June 21.
