Heavy rain that fell in the morning eased by afternoon, but scattered showers are expected to continue overnight, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan says.
And there’s a 60 percent chance rainfall will affect drivers on the Monday morning commute.
But at least the weather will be warm today.
While the high Sunday was in the upper 50s, a shift in the jet stream will drive down temperatures by the middle of the week, Monahan said.
Wednesday’s high is 47 degrees.
Temps will be about 30 degrees Thursday morning, but the high is expected to reach 60 by afternoon, Channel 2 reported. Skies will be dry and partly cloudy.
Temperatures will run in the upper 50s today -- but a big drop coming Monday through Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon, temps will struggle to reach the mid 40s! @wsbtv pic.twitter.com/HuKeyj50pB— Brian Monahan, WSB (@BMonahanWSB) March 11, 2018
