Saturday funeral for Bobbi Kristina will affect traffic in Alpharetta
The Saturday funeral for Bobbi Kristina Brown will be private, but traffic will be affected due to the number of guests, security members and media expected to attend, Alpharetta police said Friday.
The funeral for the daughter of entertainers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston will be held at 11 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church on Webb Bridge Road, police spokesman George Gordon said. Webb Bridge Road will be shut down in front of the church, Gordon said.
Other roads in the area may also be temporarily closed or have lane restrictions due to the service, Gordon said. Media members must park at Fire Station No. 1 at 2920 Webb Bridge Road and will be escorted to a location across the street from the church.
The Georgia State Patrol will be assisting Alpharetta police with traffic control, Gordon said.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, died Sunday, about six months after a medical emergency sent her to the hospital.
