Sandy Springs city officials are working toward a late January meeting set to discuss visions and goals for the city’s Comprehensive Plan, as well as ideas for improvements in the Perimeter Center and Roswell Road Corridor areas. It’s a process dubbed The Next Ten, a nod to the city’s first decade in existence.
The meeting will feature presentation of ideas submitted to The Next Ten website as well as stakeholder interviews and other feedback. Officials will also review analyses of green infrastructure, economic development and transportation.
A workshop will follow where the city planning team and residents will further hone the ideas presented.
The meeting/workshop is set for 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Sherwood Event Hall, 8610 Roswell Road, Room 200. Sandy Springs.
