Sandy Springs invites public comment on the design of the proposed Windsor Meadows Park at a meeting set for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 1. at the Church of the Atonement, 4945 High Point Road NE. The park is planned for Windsor Parkway across from its intersection with Northland Drive.

Residents will be presented with a projected timeline for the design, permitting and construction of the new park.

The park consists of three former home sites on Nancy Creek that were damaged by flooding in 2008 and 2009 and acquired by the city in 2012 under a FEMA grant, according the Sandy Springs Conservancy.
