Sandy Springs farmers market is set to return to the green space at City Springs in April. The Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park Farmers Market features vendors selling local and organic produce, pasture-raised meat and pork products, fresh breads, dairy products and prepared foods.

The farmers market will be open 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturdays, April 11-Sept. 26; and 9 a.m.-noon, Oct. 3-Dec. 12.

Thomas Sergia, of Olde World Artisan Bread, is a returning vendor who plans to introduce new products this year.

“The farmers market has exceeded all our expectations,” he said. “Customer excitement, loyalty and support for the City Springs venue are outstanding.”

Some returning names include Fry Farm, Alta Cucina, TK Gourmet, Strive Foods, Poco A Poco Farm, Fairywood Thicket, Georgia Grinders and Paw Prints. A few new vendors are Hearts of Harvest Farm, Darden’s Delights Pies and Real Cajun Market Sausages.

Starting May 2, the market will present horticulture and gardening sessions for children ages 6-10. The sessions will be held one Saturday per month through October.
