Sandy Springs to air Powers Ferry, Mount Paran plans
Sandy Springs has set an open house for Jan. 26 to discuss proposed improvements to the intersection of Powers Ferry and Mount Paran roads. Contributed by city of Sandy Springs
An information open house on proposed improvements to the intersection of Powers Ferry and Mount Paran roads is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at Holy Spirit Preparatory School, 4820 Long Island Drive.
The proposed project is “to improve efficiencies at the intersection … targeting current delays and congestion” with operational and safety enhancements, according to a city announcement. Sidewalks and improved pedestrian access also are planned.
No formal presentation will be made, but Sandy Springs representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
