Roundabout planned to ease mall congestion
The Cobb Department of Transportation is planning a multi-lane roundabout at the intersection of Barrett Lakes Boulevard and Shiloh Valley Drive.
The SPLOST project is part of the South Barrett Reliever alternate route to ease congestion around Kennesaw’s Town Center Mall and I-75. Long range plans are to connect the parkway via Barrett Lakes Boulevard and Roberts Court, bridging Interstate 75.
The DOT will hold a public meeting about the roundabout project from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Brunswick Zone XL, 775 Cobb Place, Kennesaw.
