A service organization of retired executives will provide mentorship and resources to established and aspiring business owners in Roswell as part of a partnership with Roswell Inc, the city’s economic development arm.
Working with the North Metro Atlanta chapter of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), “is a natural fit for the entrepreneurial spirit of Roswell businesses,” said Steve Stroud, executive director of Roswell Inc. “We look forward to working with SCORE to mentor, train and educate new and existing businesses to expand within the city of Roswell.”
SCORE is a nonprofit organization and partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The North Metro chapter has 15 offices and 62 mentors and covers North Fulton County as well as Cobb, Gwinnett and Forsyth counties.
Roswell-based SCORE mentors will hold weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions at Roswell Inc. The two organizations also will host quarterly business workshops. Information: https://northmetroatlanta.score.org/
