Holiday Toy Safe-Play Areas return to four Roswell parks this holiday season, to give families a place where children can try out bikes, scooters, skateboards, remote-control vehicles and other Christmas toys that require safe, open spaces.

The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department will have specially barricaded areas in parking lots from Tuesday, Dec. 25, through Sunday, Jan. 6.

They will be set up at Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road, by the football/multi-use fields; East Roswell Park, 9000 Fouts Road, by the sprayground; Groveway Community Park, 160 Dobbs Drive, by the playground; and Hembree Park, 850 Hembree Road, by the playground.

Officials said the areas will not be staffed by city employees, so adult supervision is highly recommended.
