Roswell will hold a Chattahoochee River cleanup from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday followed by a cookout until 12:30 p.m. at Riverside Park at 575 Riverside Road.

The event is part of Rivers Alive, Georgia’s annual river cleanup. Volunteers are needed to pick up litter and debris at Riverside Park, the Chattahoochee Nature Center and other areas. People who own a canoe or kayak are encouraged to bring them to the clean-up.

Volunteers should sign the volunteer waiver before arriving. The form is available at the Keep Roswell Beautiful website at www.keeproswellbeautiful.org.
