Roswell will hold a public information meeting Oct. 28 on the redevelopment powers referendum on the Nov. 2 ballot.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in council chambers in city hall at 38 Hill St.

Redevelopment powers allow a city to redevelop or create incentives for others to redevelop depressed areas. If the referendum passes, the city could form tax allocation districts.

TADs are economically depressed areas where property taxes collected above a certain level can be used for specified improvements.
