Roswell will host a ribbon-cutting on June 30 to celebrate the opening of Oxbo Way. The event, open to the public, will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the upper part of the parking lot at Oxbo and Mimosa Boulevard.

Oxbo Way actually is a pair of streets, one running east and one running west, on either side of the First Baptist Church of Roswell parking lot. The project cost Roswell $103,813 and adds an eastbound connection between Mimosa and Atlanta Street (Ga. 9).

The project helps relieve traffic on Mimosa until the full Oxbo Road intersection is rebuilt, possibly as part of the November TSPLOST referendum.
