The City of Roswell and the WellStar North Fulton Hospital have teamed up on a Relay for Life art project to increase awareness of cancer victims and prevention efforts.
Hundreds of clay hearts have been created during Roswell’s Hearts of HOPE campaign. The city’s community awareness project started in April as a way to memorialize cancer victims and raise money to benefit its Relay for Life team.
Now, each clay heart from the project will join hundreds of other hearts for a special art exhibit at the hospital on Oct. 11. This is the second public display of the Hearts of HOPE campaign.
The city's Relay for Life team raised close to $18,000 through the project. Each heart was created by local residents who have been affected by cancer.
