Road work to close Alpharetta streets

The City of Alpharetta will close a portion of Douglas Road between Leeward Run Drive and Oak Tree Hollow for construction beginning Monday. South Lake Drive and Leeward Walk Circle will also be closed where they intersect with Douglas Road. The closures are for intersection and pedestrian improvements and replacement of the bridge across Caney Creek.

A detour will be posted using Jones Bridge and McGinnis Ferry roads.
