A recent car show in Dawsonville brought together a lot of horsepower and generosity.

The  2017 Rides to Remember generated more than $20,000 for local charities as dozens of car enthusiasts got close-up views of some really cool cars.

More than 100 vehicles from all over the South rolled into Atlanta Motorsports Park in June for the show.

The event, sponsored by Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta, raised money for  Camp SunshineCURE Childhood Cancer and Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The car owners all volunteered to give children struggling with major health issues rides around the track.
