The reward for providing information that helps locate Kelly Nash has been boosted to $50,000, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The 25-year-old Gwinnett County man disappeared from his house off Buford Dam Road on Jan. 5.

Kelly Nash’s father, Alan Nash, told Channel 2 he believes his son is alive. Investigators have said there are no signs of foul play, but they haven’t dug up new information in the case.

Volunteers have searched the woods in the area and posted fliers seeking information, but a tip line has generated no leads.

Nash hopes the increased reward could help.

“Fifty thousand dollars is a lot of money to a lot of people, and I’m hoping it will ring a bell to someone,” Nash said. “When it comes to finding your son, you do what it takes.”

Nash’s girlfriend said he wasn’t home when she woke up. Nash left behind a wallet with cash, his keys and his truck, which is still parked outside the home.

Anyone with information is urged to call Gwinnett police at 770-513-5300.
