Mother's Day may have passed, but women still have a lot to celebrate.
The Metro Atlanta American Heart Association is asking relatives of women who have survived heart disease are asked to post a one-to-three minute video that tells the story of these survivors. The video will be entered into a drawing to win a "Go Red for Women Mother's Day Makeover", which includes a consultation with Essence magazine's editor-at-large, Mikki Taylor, a $500 Macy's wardrobe and makeup makeover, a free heart screening and two tickets to the "Atlanta Go Red for Women Luncheon."
The luncheon will be held on June 5.
Taylor, whose work has helped women manage their inner and outer beauty, will be the keynote speaker.
