The Henry County Board of Education voted at its June 13 regular meeting to approve a record $351 million budget for the 2016-2017 year. Officials called it the largest budget in the district’s history and said it included “raises across the system,” meaning all employees.

A spokesperson said percentage raises will vary for teachers and paraprofessionals depending on years of service, but all will get a minimum raise of three percent.
