Ramps from northbound Ga. 400 to I-285 are to be closed certain nights for the ongoing reconstruction of the interchange, affecting traffic in the Sandy Springs-Dunwoody-Brookhaven area, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to eastbound I-285 is to be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 17, for bridge construction, GDOT said. Similarly, the ramp from northbound Ga. 400 to westbound I-285 is to be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, through Sunday, Aug. 19.

Posted detours will take Ga. 400 motorists north to Abernathy Road and exiting and re-entering Ga. 400 southbound, back to the I-285 ramps.

GDOT also announced that traffic pacing will be in effect from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, on I-285 eastbound from Roswell Road to Perimeter Center Parkway; I-285 westbound from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center; and on Perimeter Center Parkway between Lake Hearn and Hammond drives.
