Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warm, but rain and cooler temperatures are forecast by week’s end.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said highs Tuesday will be in the upper 60s after morning lows that were in the in the 40s.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with lows in the 40s and highs in the mid-60s. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain late in the day, Minton said.

Thursday will be “much cooler,” with highs only around 50 degrees and a 90 percent chance of rain, according to Minton.

The chance of rain diminishes to 40 percent Friday, when highs will be in the low 60s.
