Metro Atlanta is waking to warm and humid weather.
The current temperature is hovering near the day’s high of 91 degrees, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
“But with that humidity it’s going to feel like close to 100 this afternoon,” Monahan said.
That humidity is expected to bring heavier downpours and isolated to scattered showers could appear through afternoon and evening.
