In the spirit of nurturing creative research, development, and action, The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts & Sciences and The Goat Farm Arts Center have joined forces to launch a new public action project in Atlanta . Called FIELD EXPERIMENT, the project includes a $20,000 commission, a residency, administrative and production help. Priority will be given to work that is interactive, community-driven, collaborative, and accessible to the public, according to officials.

Five finalists will be selected to present their concepts to the public at the Goat Farm Arts Center between late May and early June. Each finalist will receive $2,000 plus technical and production assistance. The winning project will be selected by the panelists and then announced on June 5.

Proposals are due by Feb. 24.
