Powder Springs to buy police sign, new garbage truck

Nov 16, 2016The Powder Springs Police Department will be getting a new monument sign at 1114 Richard D. Sailors Parkway.
R. Henry Inc. of Decatur has been awarded the bid of $46,852 as the lowest proposal.
Also, a sanitation truck will be bought by Powder Springs city officials for $211,206.
No bid was sought since McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. of Villa Rica is the only provider of the 25-yard rear loader sanitation truck required by the city.
