Update:

Crooked Tree Cafe in Marietta passed its re-inspection Friday after failing a few days earlier in part for having a dirty kitchen, Cobb County health department records show.

The eatery scored a 91 and was docked points because cooked pork was being stored too closely to raw beef, the report said.

“Great job on labeling and cleaning up,” the inspector wrote.

The inspector noted food debris “stuck” on coffee cups and plates.

The restaurant was also docked for a “heavy accumulation” of food debris and grease stains throughout the kitchen.

During the health check, employees were seen handling biscuit dough with their bare hands and wearing jewelry, neither of which are not allowed.

The eatery scored an 80 in July, and in March 2016 it earned a 90.

Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.
