Surveillance camera photos clearly show the two men accused of assaulting a gas station clerk in an armed robbery last month. Now DeKalb police are asking for the public's help in identifying the two men.

With shirts covering their faces, two men between the ages of 20 and 25 entered a Texaco Gas Station on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at 4:45 a.m. on Aug. 28, police said. The men punched the store clerk numerous times in the face before stealing cash.

The store clerk temporarily locked the men in the store and hid behind the counter, which was surrounded by bullet-proof glass. The men fired shots at the store door, and fled the scene on foot, police said.

One suspect is described at being 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has corn row style hair, police said, and was armed with a black revolver. The other suspect is approximately 5 foot, 10 inches tall with a slender build.

Anyone with information about the crime should contact police at 770-724-7850.
