Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Riverdale Waffle House at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
Around 2 a.m., police said a man wearing black clothes, a black hooded sweatshirt and a white bandana over his face walked into the Waffle House at 5150 Ga. Highway 85 and aimed a gun at the employees, Clayton County police spokeswoman India Smith said.
The man stood on the counter as a cook emptied out the register, then fled with an untold amount of money, police said.
Police found a scattered amount of money – about $26 – outside the restaurant and are using a dog to search the location.
Investigators believe the man may have been involved in another robbery early Thursday morning in Henry County.
