An office love triangle apparently led to a murder-suicide outside a Gwinnett County law firm Tuesday night, police said.
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of Satellite Boulevard, in the parking lot of the Junn Law Firm.
Officers who initially responded to a report of a person hit by a vehicle discovered that Sylvia Junn, 44, had shot her 45-year-old husband, Charles Junn, and another woman, whose name has not been released, Gwinnett police Cpl. Jake Smith said.
"She shot them both, then got into a white Lexus and fled the scene," Smith said." Charles Junn was run over as she left."
Smith said Sylvia Junn returned to the scene "almost immediately, and was still armed with the handgun."
Sylvia Junn refused the orders of officers to drop her weapon, Smith said, but "before the officers could take action, the suspect shot herself in the head."
Sylvia and Charles Junn, who were from Duluth and had a 16-year-old son, died at the scene. The other woman was taken to a local hospital, and was in critical condition on Wednesday.
Smith said all three worked in the same office where the shooting occurred.
"The investigation revealed that Charles Junn and the female victim likely had an affair in the past," he said.
