Person shot in Alpharetta

Police were investigating Thursday night after a person was shot in Alpharetta.
The incident happened at a residence on Serenity Court, Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon said.
Authorities received a 911 call about an unconscious male around 6:25 p.m. and found him with a gunshot wound, Gordon said. He was transported to North Fulton Hospital.
Police are working to determine the motive and have not identified any suspects.
