With a week left of early voting, 14 percent of registered voters in Cobb County have already cast their ballots, according to preliminary numbers from the county elections office.
Saturday's 3,491 in-person votes brought the total to 46,507 and an additional 14,080 mail-in votes.
That means a grand total of 60,587 people have voted since in-person early voting started in metro Atlanta on Oct. 17.
Coming into the weekend, there had been 51,645 ballots cast.
About 3,700 people cast ballots the first day of early voting alone.
