The Peachtree Corners City Council recently voted to reappoint several members to three different groups who help promote trade, commerce and industry within the city. Bob Saville and Gene Witkin will begin a second term ending Feb. 27, 2021 as members of the Downtown Development Authority. They rejoin five other DDA members with staggered terms who meet quarterly and are tasked with reviewing, discussing, promoting, and facilitating projects within the city’s Central Business District, an area generally running along Peachtree Parkway between Medlock Bridge Road and Holcomb Bridge Road.
Amreeta Regmi, James Blum and Matthew Gries are reappointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals with terms ending Jan. 15, 2019. They rejoin the five-member board tasked with evaluating variances and standards of the zoning ordinance and development regulations, as well as appeals of an administrative official.
Mark Willis, Matt Houser and Italia Metts are reappointed to serve on the Planning Commission with terms ending Jan. 15, 2019. They rejoin the five-member commission responsible for processing and reviewing applications for new development and redevelopment.
