The Peachtree City Police Department is hosting its third annual Light Up the Night toy drive on Nov.26 in the parking lot of the Peachtree City Walmart. Future dates are Nov 27th-28th, Dec 4th-6th, and Dec 10th-12th. All donation times are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Volunteers from the police department and the Community Emergency Response Team will be in the parking lot with police vehicles. Volunteers will be accepting unwrapped, new toys, and cash donations for families in need. Additional donation locations will be at various locations throughout the city in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Donations also may be made at the Peachtree City Police Department headquarters, 350 South Hwy 74, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details: contact Captain Stan Pye at
