The City Council of Peachtree City voted 4-0 (Kim Learnard was absent) on Dec. 18 to approve new volunteer appointments to local governing boards.
Tom Fulton will serve on the Airport Authority through December 2019, with George Harrison chosen as an alternate.
Eric Snell, Joel Kinsman and LeRoya Scott were named to the Recreation & Special Events Advisory Board for terms ending in December 2017. Beverly Ferguson is the alternate.
Phil Mahler was re-appointed to the Water & Sewerage Authority board through 2019, with Glen Adams re-appointed as the alternate.
Appointments to the Convention & Visitors Bureau were postponed until the Jan. 15 council meeting.
