Pawn shop employee stabbed during robbery

An employee was stabbed Saturday during an armed robbery attempt at The Hock Shop at 150 Cobb Parkway North.

According to Marietta Police, after the would-be robber entered the store around 10 a.m., the employee and the suspect got into a scuffle. The victim was stabbed multiple times. He was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect's woman's-style wig and knitted black stocking cap were knocked from his head before he fled. He was reportedly a thin black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 to 150 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
