Passion 2014 ignites thousands of participants for change

More than 20,000 university students from around the world are meeting in Atlanta Friday and Saturday for Passion 2014.

The annual conference is about fostering change in local communities and globally through the lens of faith in action.

This year, Passion will be held for two days at Philips Arena. At the door, participants will drop off towels and socks to be given to homeless shelters throughout the Atlanta-area.The first sessions begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

A longtime focus as been on helping the homeless and ending human trafficking.

Leaders at this year’s conference include Louie Giglio, John Piper, Francis Chan, Christine Caine, Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin.
