Piedmont Henry Hospital’s annual Garden Party last month raised $32,000 for various cancer wellness programs at the hospital, according to a recent report. Funds from the event have allowed for the expansion of such programs as cooking classes and individual nutritional consultations that include drumming class, yoga and strength training. These are free to attend and the cost to the hospital is about $80,000 per year. Information: piedmonthenry.org.
