Contractors for the state plan overnight lane closures as they prepare to rebuild the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Weather permitting, contractors will be doing drain cleaning and videotaping that will close alternately one left lane and one right lane of I-285 eastbound from Riverside Drive to east of Ashford-Dunwoody Road, the Georgia Department of Transportation says. The closures will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Friday.

Similar work on Ga. 400 will close the northbound left collector-distributor lane, from the Glenridge Connector to I-285, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Friday; and one right lane southbound, from Hammond Drive to Johnson Ferry Road, from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.

Also, one right lane of Roswell Road will be closed both northbound and southbound at the I-285 interchange; and one left lane of Peachtree Dunwoody Road will be closed both northbound and southbound from I-285 to Lake Hearn Drive, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Friday.
