All lanes of I-20 eastbound near I-285 were open Thursday evening, hours after a wreck killed one person.
The incident happened when traffic was backed up on I-20 eastbound, a Georgia State Patrol spokesman confirmed. A red Toyota rear-ended a tractor-trailer, State Patrol Lt. Paul Cosper said. The driver was killed.
The person's name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The wreck closed three lanes of traffic on I-20 eastbound just east of Fulton Industrial Boulevard.
