One of two brothers who ran a short-lived Kennesaw pain clinic pleaded guilty earlier this month to a racketeering charge in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Federal prosecutors say Jeff George and his twin brother Chris became millionaires by running a network of pill mills where narcotics were illegally dispensed. Several of their clinics in Florida were raided early last year.

Jeff George has not yet been sentenced, and he remains free on bond, according to the Florida Sun-Sentinel. His brother's case has not been adjudicated and he remains in federal custody, the newspaper reported.

The George brothers ran the Pain Express clinic on Cherokee Street in Kennesaw, which opened some time around February 2010 and operated for only about a month. The clinic closed when the Florida raids took place.
