Berkeley Lake residents will be faced with only one decision Nov. 5 in the city’s municipal election. Incumbent candidates Mayor Lois Salter and City Council Members Bob Smith and Rebecca Spitler qualified without opposition and will automatically be reelected.

Residents will decide whether or not to expand hours for the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Voting will take place 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at City Hall, 4040 South Berkeley Lake Road. The last day to register to vote in this election is Oct. 7.
