Officials say pipeline spill near Dacula no health threat

Dacula officials discovered a spill of gasoline product on Jan. 29 from the Colonial Pipeline in an unoccupied field east of the intersection of Harbins Road/GA 316 in unincorporated Gwinnett near Dacula. Emergency services and Colonial Pipeline personnel worked overnight Monday into Wednesday to contain the spill and work the accident.

Public safety officials and pipeline officials are assuring the public there is no threat to Dacula residents or visitors.
