Stone Mountain authorities are looking for an 83-year-old man with dementia who has not been seen since Saturday.

Thomas Walker Jr., who also has diabetes, was last seen at 601 Mountain Springs Dr. wearing black jeans, a blue and white striped T-shirt, black socks and no shoes, Downtown Development Authority executive director Mechel McKinley said Thursday in an emailed statement.

“Walker has a hard time communicating and is likely in need of medical attention due to his diabetes,” she said.

Walker is described as a black man with brown eyes, grey hair and a bald head.

Searches for Walker are being held daily at 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 5 p.m., McKinley said. For more information, please contact Stone Mountain police Det. Burton at 770-879-4980, ext. 118.
