Oct. 5 is deadline for Cobb voter registration
Elections will be held in the Cobb cities of Acworth, Austell, Kennesaw, Powder Springs and Smyrna on Nov. 3 with the last day to register to vote in these elections being Oct. 5.
Adults, who reside within the incorporated boundaries of these cities, should make sure their voter registration is updated, so they can vote for open mayoral and council offices.
Cobb County Board of Elections and Registration staff suggest residents may register to vote or update their addresses online at sos.ga.gov/elections by clicking the “Register to Vote” link on the left side or download the free app called “GA VOTES” at the Apple or Android app store.
Those who need to review their voter registration may visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov or the GA VOTES app and enter their name, county and birthdate.
