Carol Swan, a seven-year veteran of working with homeless residents in North Fulton County, has been named team leader for providing emergency assistance to individuals and families for North Fulton Community Charities.
Swan, named director of assistance services for the Roswell-based nonprofit, previously was program director of HomeStretch, an agency that helps working homeless families achieve self-reliance and stability and regain permanent housing, according to an NFCC announcement.
At HomeStretch, Swan was responsible for recruiting and training mentors, life skills education, and reporting performance outcomes, NFCC said. She serves on the North Fulton Poverty Task Force and is a graduate and mentor of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership North Fulton program.
“I am thrilled to serve NFCC in this role,” Swan said, “a great agency that has such an impact on the community.”
